Research Interests:

Research interests are in the general areas of geotechnical engineering, soil mechanics, and materials. Specific interests include soil properties, field and laboratory testing of soils, instrumentation, ground improvement techniques, and design and analysis of foundations, retaining structures, and earth structures. Materials research interests are primarily related to concrete materials and include strength and durability issues and the evaluation of materials used for making concrete.
